I first heard Feya on the Abdullah Ibrahim live record „Cape Town Revisited“ from 1997. We met a few times in the past and he invited me to join his band for a few tunes at a concert at the Bird‘s Eye Jazz Club in Basel many years ago. It was a pleasure to hear him play again tonight with his quintet here in Switzerland.
