The five days in Willisau always go by way too fast. For over 20 years I have been looking forward to listening to and discovering a lot of exciting music at this place. And for over 15 years I have been part of the incredibly dedicated team that makes this unique festival possible. This creates a place for the diversity of the current music scene and for encounters with great people, in front of and behind the stage. I am already looking forward to the next edition.
Some of the highlights this year include Joshua Redman‘s Still Dreaming featuring the great Ron Miles on cornet, Makaya McCraven‘s band with trumpet master Marquis Hill and the duo of James Brandon Lewis and Chad Taylor.
