It’s always a pleasure when the entire jazz world gathers in Bremen in April. Musicians, managers, bookers, label owners, and many others from all over the world come to Germany for Jazzahead to network, reconnect, and enjoy music. I think it’s great that jazz is defined so openly here, just as I came to know and love it in my late teens, and it has stayed with me ever since.
Once again, I had the privilege of representing the Swiss jazz scene at the Swiss stand, which is supported by the Fondation Suisa, Pro Helvetia, and Sonart.
Many thanks to Götz Bühler and the entire team of Jazzahead for providing a breeding ground for global connections and good music.
